Billing and payment policies –

 

  • Clients are responsible for all fees

  • Fees are payable before the start of each session

  • Credit card or cash accepted

  • Financing is available by utilizing credit card payments before session

 

 

Support Network Counseling, LLC is considered an out-of-network provider and does not bill health insurance companies. Although Support Network Counseling, LLC does not participate as an “in-network” provider, most insurance companies have “out-of-network” benefits and clients can apply for reimbursement.

 

Most health insurance policies provide coverage for counseling services.  If a client chooses to file for reimbursement with their insurance company, Support Network Counseling, LLC can provide an itemized and coded receipt upon request. The receipt contains the information needed for your insurance company to reimburse you for your counseling services.

 

 

There are significant advantages for not billing your health insurance company:

  • Protects your privacy by avoiding insurance industry access to information concerning your treatment.

  • Frees your therapist to pursue a course of therapy without managed care restrictions and delays due to policies or payments.

  • Administrative obligations associated with filing insurance claims can increase costs and restrict the time available for your care.

Out of Network for other plans with out-of-network benefits.

Please verify your insurance coverage before your first visit.  It is the responsibility of the client to verify coverage and obtain authorization from your insurance carrier.

We also offer a sliding scale for clients without behavioral health benefits.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel a scheduled appointment.  You will be charged a $50 cancellation/no-show fee for an appointment that has not been canceled with a 24-hour advance notice or if you miss an appointment.  Insurance does not pay for missed appointments.

All co-pays, deductibles, cancellation fees, and balances must be made before each visit.
